Oper BURG GARS 2025 - Music in a breathtaking setting
Within the historic walls of one of Austria’s oldest castles, the BURG GARS Opera House is opening its doors once again for its second season under the artistic direction of Clemens Unterreiner, welcoming music lovers and culture enthusiasts alike – a festival that has long since spread far beyond the borders of the Kamptal region. This year, the renowned opera festival will once again enchant visitors with its unique combination of top-class musical performances and a natural backdrop that only BURG GARS can offer.
The 2025 season will once again offer visitors a diverse program that goes far beyond classical opera. In addition to the renowned summer opera, KulturBURG presents an extensive cultural program and EventBURG features various renowned cabaret artists and musicians.
A highlight of this season is definitely the performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata” and the legendary event “Stars in Gars” with Clemens Unterreiner & Friends.
